CHILD, TEEN & NEURODIVERGENT-AFFIRMING THERAPY
Michelle Timpson, LPC
Different people need different ways into the work.
There is no single way therapy is supposed to look.
I have more than 10 years of experience in the mental health field and extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, autistic clients, and people with other neurodivergences, along with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and childhood trauma.
HOW I WORK
The approach should fit the person.
I use an eclectic approach because different people respond to different kinds of support.
Depending on your needs, our work may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, DBT techniques, and ABA techniques.
Therapy can be challenging work, but it can also create space for a deeper understanding of yourself, your patterns, and what helps you move through the world more comfortably.
AREAS OF FOCUS
Children & Teens · Autism · ADHD · Neurodivergence · Anxiety · Depression · Childhood Trauma · Emotional Regulation · CBT · Strength-Based Therapy
My goal is to meet you where you are and build the work around who you actually are- not around a one-size-fits-all idea of therapy.
