TRAUMA, ANXIETY & SOMATIC THERAPY FOR ADULTS

Lulu (Laurie) Halbe, LPC

There can be more going on underneath what you’re feeling.

Anxiety. Self-doubt. Disconnection. A life transition that has you questioning what comes next. Sometimes what brings you to therapy is clear; sometimes you simply know you don’t feel quite like yourself.

I work with adults seeking emotional healing, greater self-awareness, and a deeper connection with themselves, including people navigating trauma and major life transitions. My work makes room for the whole person- mind, body, and the parts of your experience that can be difficult to put neatly into words.

HOW I WORK

Therapy doesn’t need to force you into one way of healing.

My approach is integrative and shaped around what you need from the work.

I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS) to explore inner conflict, Somatic Experiencing to work with the ways trauma can be held in the body, and Contemplative Counseling to support mindfulness and emotional clarity.

AREAS OF FOCUS

Trauma · Anxiety · Self-Doubt · Life Transitions · Self-Discovery · Identity · Mind-Body Connection · Somatic Therapy · IFS · Emotional Clarity

I don’t see my role as having all the answers. I see therapy as a place where we can get curious together, with respect for your own capacity to grow and heal.
